Christmas tree campaign: Fulfill the wishes of 400 children in St. Ingbert
In St. Ingbert, three special Christmas trees shine in the city center, which this year will help bring color to the festive season. As the local Child Protection Association reports, over 400 children and young people had the opportunity to express their Christmas wishes, which are now attached to the trees on small notes.
This action is not only a highlight for the small citizens, but also a way for the community to get involved and prepare joy. Attached on the trees in the shops, the children's heart wishes can be found. This initiative is supported in several local shops: the Ganster family's hairdressing salon in Alte Bahnhofstrasse 7, the hairdressing salon ICUT at Kaiserstraße 98 and the flower shop "MH - Blumen" at Kaiserstraße 10, led by Markus Hassdenteufel.
how it works
Until December 14th, interested parties can "pick" one of the wish lists, get the desired gift, pack it and hand it over to one of the three shops. In this way, the donors can provide direct support and put a smile on the face of a child or adolescent.
After the end of the campaign, the team of the Child Protection Association will ensure that all gifts collected will be distributed to the respective families before Christmas. The overall goal is to fulfill hundreds of children and adolescents a little dream and to sweeten the holidays. A nice custom that shows how closely the community can work together and how much joy can give such gestures.
