Advent mood: Red Cross Christmas market in Rohrbach-Berg

From November 24th, the parking lot behind the Rotkreuz building in Rohrbach-Berg transformed into a festive Advent landscape. After the great success of the first Red Cross Christmas market last year, the city is now preparing for the next special event. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., a variety of handmade products from more than 40 exhibitors will be presented. The festival is musically accompanied by the city music band Rohrbach-Berg, which performs traditional Christmas carols.

Visitors can look forward to a selection of culinary specialties from the Rotkreuz field kitchen, including sausages with sauerkraut, hot liver cheese and fries. Sweets such as punch, cookies and fresh farmers complete the offer. The Christmas market not only offers something for adults, the little ones are also entertained by a colorful program.

The little guests can look forward to face painting and exciting fairy tale hours offered by the narrators Brigitta and Daniela. These take place at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. and take the children into magical stories. There is also the possibility to explore a real ambulance, which enables a little insight into the valuable work of the Red Cross.

Particular attention is paid to the fact that the net proceeds of the Christmas market benefit from the promotion of voluntariness and camaraderie at the Red Cross. This aspect not only shows the community of the event, but also its contribution to social purposes.
