Windhaag. The Priorat Windhaag community center was awarded the prestigious Upper region Award. This award recognizes the innovative reuse of once empty buildings, which is an important step in the implementation of the 'Austrian soil strategy' developed by the Austrian spatial planning conference (ÖROK). This strategy was decided as part of a conference of the spatial council state councils of all federal states as well as the Austrian Association of Community and the Association of City in Linz.

It combines the municipal administration, commercial tenants and premises for local clubs. This variety creates a lively center of the place. Through the initiative of the municipality, the support of the state of Upper Austria and the voluntary commitment of the population, the dilapidated priority was transformed into an outstanding showcase project.

Werner Pamminger, Managing Director of the Upper Austrian Standart Agency Business Upper Austria, emphasized the role model function of the awards: "As a location agency, we actively promote the reuse of broken.
