Let s get visible: Festival celebrates empowerment for women and men in Linz

On November 22, 2023, the Female Empowerment Festival "Let’s Get Visible" celebrates its third edition in the Brucknerhaus in Linz. With more than 1,000 registered participants, including men, the festival will be greater and more diverse this year than ever. Organizer Carolin Anne Schiebel emphasizes that after the great success of the last event, a more comprehensive program is waiting for the participants.

"The positive feedback after the last Let’s Get Visible was enormous. We had to think about how we can meet the great demand and offer even more space for interested parties with four stages and a colorful program for the first time," explains Schiebel. Four stages are designed to inspire the audience with exciting lectures, workshops and discussion groups. The topics range from self -authorization to family planning to diversity as the key to professional success.

diverse program design

The event offers a wealth of program items that go far beyond the classic lectures. Participants can look forward to a “Connect & Chill Area” in which networking is possible in a relaxed atmosphere. In addition, creative workshops such as pottery and painting are offered so that the participants also have the opportunity to develop their creative skills. A special highlight is the Early Bird Club, in which early risers can prepare for the event day.

New this year are several additional offers, such as childcare, a business dress exchange and even a job wall that promote the exchange and networking. The Life radio lounge will also be part of the program, while professional moderation training offer additional incentives to develop and learn new skills.

inspiring speakers and personalities

The speaker's line-up is impressive. Over 50 experts from different areas will raise their voices on topics such as diversity, equality and women at work. Among the speakers are also well-known personalities such as influencer Karin Teigl, cabaret artist Nina Hartmann and the governor of Upper Austria, Christine Haberlander. This variety of voices should help the participants to discover new perspectives and to develop their own ideas.

The festival was launched by Carolin Anne Schiebel, who developed a unique concept from her experience in photography and passion for strengthening women. After a realignment of her company during the pandemic, she recognized the need to strengthen women not only through visual representations, but also through knowledge and self-confidence for a strong online presence. "Visibility, formation of consciousness and mutual support are essential for equality issues," says Schiebel and emphasizes that the festival visit is a step in the right direction.

Overall, the festival not only offers a valuable platform for women to exchange and network, but also an opportunity for all participants, to actively participate in equality and empowerment. If you want to learn more about the details of the event, you can do this read here .
