Lichterroas in Inzersdorf: Community and light for a good cause

Inzersdorf. A new club called "We Midanaund" has set itself the goal of stimulating Inzersdorf and strengthening the community. Their most important project is the revival of the traditional Lichterroas, which will take place on November 23. After a ten -year interruption, this Advent planner will also delight the hearts of the residents.

The association was founded at the beginning of the year by Claudia Bachmair, Erika Stadlhuber, Heidi Gupppenberger and Andrea Baumschlager. At a meeting in the summer of 2023, the idea arose to organize a celebration that attracts both Inzersdorfer and visitors. "We want to do something with and for Inzersdorfer," explains Bachmair. The plan is to move through the place, while almost all local clubs take care of the catering and entertainment of the guests. As a special highlight, 23 exhibitors present their manual skills, whereby some Inzersdorfer also participates that do not normally issue.

income remain in the community

The success of the Lights Roas even has a charitable aspect. "The association's heart's concern is to donate the pure proceeds of the Roas of an Inzersdorf family affected by a stroke of fate," reports Stadlhuber. From the income of the event, the clubs will submit part of their profits, while the exhibitors will calculate a stand fee. "It is a pleasure to plan something like this and we are enthusiastic about the support of the community," add Bachmair and Stadlhuber.

Silent moments and musical highlights

An unusual part of the Lichterroas is the cemetery visit, which is integrated into the program. "The cemetery is a beautiful place that should also be celebrated," explains Stadlhuber. With the peaceful light in the dark, space is created for silent thoughts, which is confirmed by Bachmair.

The light concert at 7:30 p.m. in the Marienkirche Inzersdorf is a special highlight of the evening. The well -known guitarist and singer Florian Gruber will offer illuminating musical sounds together with the youth choir. This youth choir, a project of the association "We Midananund", stands open to young singers from the age of ten and is led by Erika Stadlhuber and pianist Regina Mayr. The rehearsals take place regularly on Sunday morning in the parish home Inzersdorf. If you are interested, you can contact kontakt@wir-midanaund.at
