Festive opening: Life -size crib in the Steinbacher Krippenhaus
The crib house in Steinbach an der Steyr traditionally attracts not only the locals, but also numerous visitors from all over the state of Upper Austria and beyond. His collection of more than 600 cribs from different cultures has earned an excellent reputation over the years. This year the exhibition is supplemented by a very special highlight: a life -size representation of the holy family, designed by the talented carving artist Manfred Fürschuss.
The solemn inauguration of the new crib takes place on the popular sausage Sunday. Traditionally, the crib house will be open on Sundays and public holidays to give many families and individuals the opportunity to admire the impressive collection.

The life -size crib of Manfred Fürschuss, which is presented at the forecourt of the crib house, is a real asset to the diverse exhibition. The artist from Leonstein is known for his wood carvings, which can be found in different locations in the region. The inauguration of the crib house including the new crib will take place on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. on the town square of Steinbach an der Steyr.
