Adx Energy is urging growth: new gas and oil deposits in Upper Austria!

Oberösterreich, Österreich - The Australian-Austrian oil and gas boring company ADX Energy has taken a crucial step to open up new energy sources in Upper Austria. The company applied to the Austrian Ministry of Finance to adapt its exploration license areas. This is done as part of the optimization of the existing licenses ADX-AT-I and ADX-AT-II in the Kirchdorf and Steyr-Land districts, which together include around 1,022 square kilometers. In return, Adx plans to hand in some other areas, such as oe24 . With the realignment, expanded possibilities for the development of gas and oil deposits are to be created, which is of central importance for the company in order to benefit from the currently high wholesale gas price.

optimization of the exploration licenses

Due to the license adjustments, the number of economically accessible, near -surface gas deposits has tripled for ADX Energy. This is a significant advantage because these deposits are near existing infrastructure, which facilitates a quick connection to the supply network. Among the new license areas is now also the Welchau 1 area and the Molln-1 gas project, which already had promising production numbers of up to 4.0 million cubic feet per day in 1989, as news.

The company plans to drill at a lower depth of petroleum and natural gas deposits, which could reduce the costs. The focus is primarily on shallow natural gas deposits, which can be developed quickly in the event of a find. Despite the company's positive views, the plans for conservationists encounter resistance. However, the test work on the Welchau-1 drilling, which is currently exposed to, could lead to new knowledge about the potential of the region in the future. The reorganization of the license areas could thus open a whole range of options in the energy sector for ADX Energy.
