News from Schlüßlberg: Investments for future and quality of life
Schlüsslberg. In recent years a lot has happened in the municipality of Schlüßlberg. Mayor Klaus Höllerl brought the latest developments in the infrastructure to the table. The investments affect many areas, including water supply, education, security and renewable energies, which is of great importance for the community.
An outstanding project was to improve drinking water supply. A cooperation with the neighboring municipality of Bad Schallerbach has made an agreement that ensures a reliable water supply. The new water pipes guarantee long -term supply, especially at peak times. This is an important step to increase the quality of life of the citizens.
improvements in childcare
Mayor Höllerl also proudly emphasizes the progress in childcare. The kindergarten, which offers space for six groups and even acts as a training center, recently modernized its kitchen. 80 to 100 meal sports are prepared here every day, which significantly improves the quality of the meals.
Another big topic is security in the community. The fire brigade has been equipped with around 700,000 euros in recent years, which benefits the community. In 2024, the fire brigades from Tegernbach and Schnölzenberg received new vehicles and devices, while the Schlüßlberg fire brigade already bought a new tank fire engine a few years ago. These investments ensure faster reactions in an emergency.
But not only security, the sport is not neglected in Schlüßlberg. The three tennis courts were equipped with a modern all -weather surface this year, which opens up many new opportunities for sports fans.
Sustainable energy supply
Schlüßlberg also shows a great commitment to renewable energies. Photovoltaic systems were already installed on various public buildings 15 years ago. This year, 100,000 euros flowed to the expansion of these systems. In addition, the entire road lighting of the municipality was converted to energy-saving LED technology, which not only lowers costs, but also protects the environment.
The cultural aspects of the community should not be forgotten either. With the Hofbühne Tegernbach, Schlüßlberg has a cultural meeting point, which mayor titled as a "cultural jewel". This commitment to the culture is supplemented by local events such as the fresh market or the wine village that strengthen the sense of community.
In order to understand the needs of the younger generation, the municipality has carried out a youth survey. This survey invites all young people to express their concerns and suggestions. The results will be presented on October 25th in the municipal office, where the young people have the opportunity to discuss their ideas and plan their implementation.
Through such comprehensive investments and initiatives, Schlüßlberg shows how important the design of the municipal structures is for the future. It is continuously ensured that both the quality of life and the sense of security of the citizens are increased.
