Eferdingen students win price for HPV education with videos

A group of students from the Handelsakademie (HAK) Eferding has set itself the goal of clarifying the topic of HPV (human papillomavirus). These viruses play an important role in the health sector, especially with regard to certain types of cancer. In order to inform their fellow human beings in an understandably manner, the pupils developed educational videos that were praised for their simple and clear explanation.

Thanks to their creative approaches in knowledge transfer, the students were awarded the third prize in the competition. This recognition is not only a fanfare shock for the project group, but hopefully will also inspire other young people to deal with important health issues.

The competition

The competition in which the students took part was looking for innovative ideas for clarifying health risks, especially with regard to HPV. The jury's decision was made on the videos of the Eferdinger students because they masterfully understood to present complex medical content in a manner that is appealing and comprehensible for young people. This enables you to ensure that important information is accessible not only in medical specialist circles, but also in the general public.
