The Mistlberg volunteer fire brigade can look back on an eventful year. In the summer, Pregarten's wet extinguishing competition took place there, in which the fire brigade was able to triumph in the women's and age rating. Other actions such as a hiking day and the blessing of the new small fire engine were also part of this festival.

The interaction of the fire brigade youth groups of FF Mistlberg and FF Hinterberg since 2014 shows how important the exchange and the community are in youth work. Together, the youth teams bring children between the ages of nine and 16 together, supplemented by ten small fire brigade minis. The increase in girls in the girls has been particularly gratifying in recent years, so that as many girls are now active in the youth groups.
