Bad Zell celebrates 25 years of Hedwigkapelle with a festive program 2024
Bad Zell. The Bad Zeller Hedwigsfest 2024 is just around the corner and is celebrated in the sign of the 25th anniversary of the Hedwigkapelle. Such an anniversary is an important opportunity for the community to come together and to appreciate the cultural and spiritual values that this chapel embodies.
The celebrations begin with a festive light procession on Hedwigstag, October 16. All interested parties are cordially invited to take part in this solemn event. The procession from the procession takes place right after the evening mass at 7.45 p.m. from the parish church. The prayer at the Hedwigkapelle is musically accompanied by Barbara Diebenreither on the flute, Doris Haider on the violin and Franz Haslhofer on the guitar. These pieces of music should underline the spiritual meaning of the festival and offer the participants a contemplative atmosphere.

Various events are planned for the weekend. On Saturday, October 19, the vernissage "Gentle and Strong Weibsbilder" by the artist Andrea Holl will open in the Hotel Lebensquell at 7.30 p.m. This exhibition promises to address the creativity of women and to illustrate them by various works of art.The following Sunday, October 20, the Hedwigskirtag will take place on the market square from 8 a.m. Here, visitors can stroll comfortably through the market stalls and discover culinary delights as well as craftsmanship. At 9.15 a.m., a solemn high office in the parish church is also celebrated, in which Fritz Renhard's manor is performed. The Gutau church choir will enrich this special ceremony with its performance.
afterwards, at 10.30 a.m., visitors can enjoy the music from the "16 Musi" at the morning pint at the Färberwirt. This traditional music creates a happy atmosphere and invites you to linger and celebrate. With a varied program, the organizers invite everyone to experience the different facets of community and culture.
These celebrations are not only a tribute to the Hedwig chapel, but also an opportunity for the locals to get closer and to maintain their cultural roots. The market town, the parish, the Kulturforum and the Hedwigs Committee are looking forward to welcoming many participants and celebrating this special anniversary together.
