Nöbeg supports local companies through guarantees for bank loans and silent investments. Since its foundation in 1993, the company has approved over 600 participations, which corresponds to a total volume of 342 million euros. This financial support contributed to more than one billion euros in investments in Lower Austria. The challenges for companies in the region are great; High energy costs, bureaucracy and global crises burden the economic environment.
powerful financing for SMEs
As the governor reported, the approved participations in the context of the Lower Austrian model are particularly geared towards small and medium -sized companies (SMEs). 721 participations have been approved since 1993, 21 of them last year. The aim of this financing model is to support SMEs in implementing future projects. In cooperation with the state of Lower Austria, the Chamber of Commerce in Lower Austria and leading banks, Nöbeg initiates effective approaches to ensure the economic stability and innovative strength of the region.
A particularly positive example is the family company Heiss & Süss in Altengbach, which is planning an expansion with the help of the model. Managing Director of the Lower Austria emphasized that every funded euro triggered three times as high investments, which illustrates the leverage of the support measures.
Support for research and innovation
In the context of innovation funding, the Federal Government has published a new guide to research and innovation promotion, which is important for SMEs. These companies often have difficulty financing their own research projects, which limits their ability to innovate. The guide provides a diverse offer to support SMEs in the areas of research, development and innovation. Er enthält Fördertipps, eine praktische Checkliste sowie Hinweise zu Beratungseinrichtungen und nützlichen Internetseiten.
Overall, it can be seen that initiatives such as the newly introduced funding counseling are significant steps to strengthen the competitiveness of small and medium -sized companies in Lower Austria. Governor Mikl-Leitner and the Nöbeg are at the side of the key partner in order to promote innovative and future-oriented projects and to lead the regional economy into a successful future.
