Informative evening in Zwettl: Everything about retirement

In Zwettl, an information event was recently held, which dealt with the topic of retirement and attracted numerous citizens. Over 160 people took the opportunity to find out about their rights, duties and the often complex processes related to the pension. The Lower Austria Chamber of Lower Austria (AK Lower Austria) and the pension insurance institution (PVA) gave valuable insights and clarified many open questions.

"Around retirement" was the motto of the event, which was carried out in the Zwettl city hall. Many participants had the same concern: uncertainty about the amount of the pension, unclear key days and the large number of necessary applications often caused confusion among the visitors. The AK Lower Austria reacted to this fact and provided experts who discussed the most common questions and offered individual advice on site.

Competent advice on site

The experts from the Chamber of Labor took time to personally discuss the concerns of those present. In addition to general information on pension law, special topics such as the termination of the employment relationship and private pension provisions were also dealt with. The possibility of inquiring directly to the responsible bodies was estimated by many participants because they often do not know exactly where to start.

Doris Widhalm, Chamber Councilor of AK Niederösterreich, emphasized the relevance of such events: "The demand for information about the start of the pension among our members is high. We would like to ensure that all those affected are well informed in this crucial phase of life." This shows the endeavor of the AK Lower Austria to promote transparency in the pension system and at the same time point out the need to create safe and healthy jobs.

In addition, the AK plans a continuation of this series of events in other districts of Lower Austria in order to achieve as many people as possible in similar situations. The creation of more awareness and understanding of the pension system and the creation of healthy jobs remain central topics for Ak.

In order to clarify further questions, the AK Lower Austria advice centers are also available outside of these events. The information offered there is an important help for everyone who wants to prepare for their pension and create a feeling of security in a time of change.
