FF WOFFING and Ober Piesting successfully pass the respiratory protection test
On Friday, October 25, 2024, the time had finally come: Two respiratory protection teams from the volunteer fire brigade (FF) WOFFING and Ober Piesting competed in bronze for the important training examination. This exam is an important step in the training of firefighters because it ensures that the members are trained in dealing with respiratory protection devices and can effectively move in emergencies. The participants had to complete various stations that included the equipping, the person looking for people, overcoming obstacles and the manufacture of operational readiness.
The examination was carried out by a qualified team under the direction of main auditor HBM Heinz Strasser. This team is responsible for the correct assessment of the skills of the firefighters and ensures that all security standards are observed. We can proudly report that the exam with flying colors was mastered. Have passed: FM Ben Grabenwöger, FM Valentin Adlaßnig, FM Armin Haidl, FM Lorenz Klesl, FM Michael Richard Zehetner and Ofm Manuel Haiden from FF Ober Piesting.
solemn badge handover
Following the exams, a solemn ceremony took place, in which the badges were handed over to the participants. Mayor Katharina Trettler, District Councilor Hermann Gamsjäger and fire brigade commander HBI Bernd Steinbrecher took the time to congratulate the graduate and appreciate her performance. This type of recognition is not only important for the self -confidence of the firefighters, but also strengthens cohesion in the community.
A big thank you goes to the examination team around HBM Heinz Strasser, who provided his time and expertise to enable this training exam. Such exams are crucial to ensure that the firefighters are well prepared in order to be able to act quickly and safely in emergencies. This training examination not only protects the members themselves, but also contributes to the safety of the entire community.
