New transitional apartments offer protection for women affected by violence in Tulln!

As meinzirk.at , a contract was signed for two transitional apartments that are part of a new protection offer. This measure falls into the time of the campaign "16 days against violence against women", which is carried out annually from November 25th to December 10th. A total of 17 transitional apartments are now available to offer women new hope in crisis situations.

The new accommodations that are set up in cooperation with women's shelters and advice centers are equipped with safety devices and offer women and their children comprehensive care. A minimum of four hours of advice per week is offered, and women can stay in the apartments for up to twelve months, in particularly difficult cases even longer.
