The Mayor of St. André-Wördern, Maximillian Titz, has surprisingly announced that he will no longer take the upcoming municipal election as the top candidate of the ÖVP. After a decade at the top, he joined the municipal council as a top candidate in 2008 and has significantly influenced the fortunes of the community since then.

"The personal problems of our neighbors, such as disputes or construction problems, have always been a challenge.
