A unfortunate incident recently occurred in the Tulln district when a minibus clamped onto a parked trailer. The trailer had been parked next to the road due to the ongoing sugar beet harvest. This impact led to considerable damage to the minibus, whereby the entire passenger side of the vehicle was badly damaged. In particular, the sliding door and the passenger door were torn from the vehicle.

The driver, whose condition remains unknown, had to be taken care of in the incident and was taken to the hospital for further treatment. The exact circumstances and the severity of his injuries are currently not completely clear.

rescue measures and cleanup work

quickly after the accident, the fire brigade and police arrived at the scene to secure the scene of the accident. The emergency services worked together to remove the wedged vehicle parts that got stuck on the trailer. Only after the farmer was able to remove the trailer could the firefighters be removed the badly damaged vehicle and free the road from rubble.

Such incidents raise important questions about safety in road traffic, especially when agricultural vehicles and devices are used. For a detailed view of the case, see the current report on www.noen.at .
