Successful athletes from Amstetten shine at state championships in Tulln
In an exciting competition at the cross -country run state championships in Tulln, athletes from the Amstetten district were able to show outstanding achievements. This event attracted many talented athletes, and the region was well represented, especially by the members of the LCU Euratsfeld and the Laufclub Neufurth.

After her recent success at the state championships, she now celebrated the state championship title. Her sister Christina Kusolitsch also showed a strong race and took a considerable fifth place in the U16 category, which is a considerable performance in view of the strong competition.

running clubThe Neufurth running club was also found on the podium. Margarete Nussbaumer achieved a time of 9:34 minutes in the U16 class over 2,250 meters and ended the race as the overlying. Katharina Leimer convinced over 3,000 meters in the U18 by improving her previous best time by 27 seconds and taking the 13th position as the third best runner from Lower Austria.
Emilia Sandhofer also shone: it ran the 4,350 meters of the WU20 in a time of 19:24 minutes and secured fifth place. In the WU23, Nicole Prauchner took fourth place with an impressive time of 17:38 minutes, while she is currently starting for TGW-Zehnkampf Union. Such successes show the enormous potential and commitment of these athletes from the region, who were able to qualify for the five best places in a state championship.
