The "Day of Electrical Engineering" has established itself as a platform for exchange about digitization, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence (AI) and took place in the "House of Digitization" in Tulln. The event became a remarkable event with a new participant record of 340 people, including electrical engineers as well as young people from vocational and technical schools. Around 20 lectures and 30 exhibitors offered a comprehensive insight into the latest developments in the industry.
Friedrich Manein, the state guild master of the Lower Austrian electric, building, alarm and communication technician, emphasized the opportunities that open up through digitization and AI. In order to better arm the electrical engineers against cyber attacks, the state guild now offers free consultations in the form of IT weak point analysis that are implemented in cooperation with the Lower Austria Chamber of Commerce.
