Austria is preparing: Military helps against mouth and claw disease!
Niederösterreich, Österreich - On April 12, 2025, the Austrian Armed Forces are in action against the mouth and claw disease (MKS). From Monday, new import regulations for animal products from Hungary will come into force, which are limited to certain geographical areas that are classified as protection, surveillance or restricted areas. The import ban is thus differentiated and aims to prevent the introduction of the animal disease to Austria.
