From October 28 to 31, 2024, the talented young players fought against teams from eleven nations and triumphed very clearly.
In an exciting finale that took place exclusively on home, ÖTV players Teodor Mihai Vasile and David Richter faced each other. Both had previously won three victories and won 6: 2, 4: 6 and 10: 6 in the match Tiebreak. But not only the boys rocked the tournament; The girls were also successful, with Anastasia Weiler and Ella Giulia Eder achieving the consolation competition and winning great placements.
success on international parquet
The competition in the Rafa Nadal Academy was a show case for omlander players from countries such as Bulgaria, France, Greece and many others. It became clear that the ÖTV youngsters not only draws attention to itself nationally, but also internationally. However, the performance of Weiler, who was defeated in the Bulgarian player Kayra Aleksieva, was particularly gratifying.
The international competition was great, and yet the ÖTV players demonstrated their superiority in this top-class environment. Vasile was able to contribute to success in the mixed doubles by winning 6: 3 together with Aleksieva against judge and the Italian Mattia Sena Sena
Martin Kondert, the ÖTV U10 national coach, was enthusiastic about the achievements of his protégés. "It is gratifying that we were able to experience a red and white-red finale again. This shows how well the children have developed, both sporty and in terms of fair play," he explained. Kondert is particularly proud of the FairPlay Prize, which the hamlet received, which reflects the positive values that are conveyed to the children in the kidstnis system.
The support of the parents and participation in various tournaments in the interior ensure that the children are not only successful in the national framework, but also internationally. Such successes in Mallorca are the result of hard work and a strong foundation of values.
A big thank you goes to the Ferrero Group, which organized the event, and of course the Rafa Nadal Academy, which offers the perfect framework for these extraordinary competitions.
