New headmaster at the Neunkirchner Gymnasium: Gerhard Ruhs takes over
Gerhard Ruhs, a familiar face at the Neunkirchner Gymnasium, will take over the management of the school from December 1st. The official announcement takes place as a result of the successor of Susanne Casanova-Mürkl, who previously held the office. Ruhs, who has recently acted as a representative of Casanova-Mürkl, starts this responsibility with great anticipation. Sandra Humhal, who had taken over the management interim, will give up her position again and retire in the second row.
The 42-year-old Ruhs originally comes from Ternitz and grew up in Höflein. He himself graduated from the Neunkirchner Gymnasium and was even a school spokesman there. This connection to the school means a lot to him: "Of course I am overjoyed that the choice fell on me because of course I have a very special connection to the location," he said in a conversation with the NÖN.
a new section for the school
Ruhs' experience as an educator is comprehensive and he brings a deep insight into the needs of the students and teachers. No doubt that his return as a director is considered positive because he will work with many teachers, including his former class teacher Christine Lohninger, who shaped him. "It is exciting to use these long -familiar relationships and experiences to further develop the school," added Ruhs.
The expectations of Ruhs are high and many questions are in the room: will he introduce new initiatives and programs? How will the school climate change? These and other questions dominate the talks in the school environment. The school community is in a happy expectation of what the future will bring under its leadership.
The confirmation of Ruhs' as a new director is no coincidence, because his predecessor had to master a variety of challenges. Ruhs' approach could significantly shape the renewal process that the school was supposed to go through. For the school community and the pupils, this is a sign of stability and new beginning at the same time.
