strong as a storm! The New Elephants Grevenbroich shocked their opponents at the WBV Cup with an impressive 86: 46 victory against the TV Neunkirchen. As soon as they had celebrated the triumphant last minute victory over Ibbenbüren, they were already on the floor again and showed what they were made of. Coach Mahmoud Al Abed did not squeam with his protégés and set up a new defense system that kept the audience in suspense in the well -filled elementary school gymnasium in Seelscheid. Some even had to follow the exciting game while standing!
With fresh courage, the elephants in the cup for the upcoming challenges, while key players like Viktor Frankl-Maus and Niko Dellis were missing. Instead, the substitute players were particularly committed: Rassim Diallo and Leo Trierscheidt shone on the field, while Jacob Washington combined with five threes from the comfort zone. "We brought everything out of the game that was possible," Al Abed praised his team, who was preparing for the next opponent Deutzer TV with joy and rhythm.
