Innovative Braille technology: HTL Mistelbach wins Pozzi -hanner Prize

A remarkable success for the HTL Mistelbach was recently celebrated in the Albert-Schweitzer-Haus in Vienna, where graduates Carolin Gaß and Doris Schmid were awarded the Pozzi -hanner Prize for the first time for their diploma thesis "Duosenense Braille". The “Duosenense Braille” project was developed in cooperation with the TEPRECHONE company and convinces with a unique modification of a braille line. With this device, letters can be experienced both acoustically and tactile, which makes it easier for visually impaired people to learn the braille independently.
