Fourth graders of the VS Türnitz pass cycling test with flying colors

The fourth graders of the Türnitz elementary school have successfully prepared for road traffic on their bicycles. As part of a voluntary cycling test, which was carried out in cooperation with the local police, the class was allowed to demonstrate its learned knowledge.

The students devoted themselves intensively to the preparation. Parents and teachers support them in learning important rules and behaviors that are crucial for safety in road traffic. After passing the theoretical test, the exciting part followed: the practical exam.

examination and supervision

Under the guidance of district inspector Florian Stix, the examination process was explained in detail. "We see if the children give a hand signal when turning whether they behave properly in road traffic and whether the bicycles are equipped accordingly," he explained. The young cyclists had to demonstrate their skills on the main road. This included different traffic situations in which correct behavior was required.

The event not only serves to familiarize the children with the traffic rules, but also to promote security awareness in the community. The success of these exams shows that the students are well prepared and can be safer in road traffic. Further insights on this topic are in a report by www.noen.at find.
