Leader Mostviertel-Mitte: strong community projects and youth promotion
The 18th general meeting of the Leader region Mostviertel-Mitte took place in the Kirchberghalle in Kirchberg an der Pielach. Around 70 guests, including numerous guests of honor, gathered to find out what the region is about. The chairman Anton Gonaus opened the meeting with positive news. The annual financial statements were gratifying and the solid financial basis is used to launch new projects. In the past few months there have been some significant events, such as the premieres of film chronicists and a fruit tree plantation, which both contribute to promoting regional identity and sustainability.focus on the youth
An essential part of the evening was the presentation of the activities of the youth network Jumomi. Thomas Tatosa from the youth and living environment association and the leader employee Martina Grill reported on a large-scale youth survey and workshops that help young people develop a stronger connection to nature. Four creative videos were presented to the representatives of the communities, which were created by the young people themselves. Some of the young participants were also present and presented their concerns directly, which gave the evening a special touch. They emphasized the importance of respect and appreciation for their suggestions by the adults.
Wolfgang Juterschnig, the state youth officer, presented various opportunities and funding opportunities for the youth projects in Lower Austria as part of his lecture. This motivated those present to continue to actively invest in dialogue and cooperation with the youth. Chairman Gonaus took the opportunity to thank the municipal representatives for the long -term cooperation, as well as with the volunteer officials for their commitment.
The evening found its end in a relaxed atmosphere with dirndl juice and dirndlmost, where the participants had the opportunity to make contacts and exchange new ideas. The Leader region Mostviertel-Mitte shows through its initiatives and projects how important the integration of young people into local developments is and how this contributes to strengthening the community.
