On Friday, April 4, 2025, the judge led a look back on the previous criminal proceedings in a civil proceedings against the state of Lower Austria, which had the abuse of a child by his mother. According to the plaintiffs, a threat was found during these home visits, which increased the demand for a personal conversation with the child to clarify the abuse.
The state of Lower Austria, however, denies any irrigation and emphasized that all legal obligations have been observed. The investigations against the social workers involved for abuse of office were hired by the Krems public prosecutor because the social workers acted according to the regulations.

The mother of the affected boy, 34 years old, was sentenced to 20 years in prison in February 2024, while her friend received a penalty of 14 years. Both judgments are final and include accommodation in a forensic-therapeutic center.
