Enigmatic ringle set: revelations about the cult author in Krems!
In the culture center of Krems, the German writer and painter Joachim Ringelnatz (1883-1934) received full attention when Renate Lind spoke about his remarkable life. Although many false statements and misunderstandings about Ringelnatz were spread, Lind asked the audience to take his brilliant personality seriously. "There has been as much nonsensical and disfigurement as about Joachim Ringelnatz over hardly any artist of the past century," she emphasized when she addressed the numerous misinterpretation in the art and literature scene. The atmospheric framework for this lecture was created by the current exhibition by Josef Meisl in the gallery, which also fascinated the audience.
diverse cultural offer
In addition to the event about Ringelnatz, the culture Mitte Krems has already prepared a varied program for 2025, which will soon be announced. In the coming year, the vernissages and other events are scheduled to take place on Tuesdays to offer visitors more options. These lectures and readings are part of a broad cultural offer in Lower Austria, which also includes the reading of Milena Michiko Flašar in Wolkersdorf and the performance of dramatized works by Franz Kafka, as it noe.gv.at reports.
A highlight of the upcoming program is also the Christmas special of Marika Reichhold alias Ms. Franzi, which takes place on December 3 and traditionally connects entertaining elements with a festive flair. Theater life in Vienna and the surrounding area is booming with various lectures, performances and cultural events that extend from literary salon evenings to comedic ideas and thus promote a lively cultural scene, such as meinzirk.at
