Grief and Memory: Child reading about loss in Korneuburg
Grief and Memory: Child reading about loss in Korneuburg
In our community there is a special event for children who deals with a sensitive topic: dealing with loss and death. It is a reading that is aimed at children aged 5 to 10. Here you can learn creatively to deal with your feelings and get answers to important questions. The story is about Marlene and Paul, who lose their beloved grandfather and experience exciting and sad.
The reading takes place under the direction of Andrea Köttrich-Krautstoffl, an experienced child mourning companion. It offers the small participants the opportunity to talk about the loss and learn how to deal with sadness. The event not only promotes understanding of such difficult topics, but also creates space to preserve memories of loved ones. After the reading there is also a creative design round for children and a round of talks for parents to share the impressions and experiences in a protected framework.
