Langenzersdorfer experience parliament up close with a member of Minnich

Recently, about 40 curious citizens from Langenzersdorf visited the parliament to get an insight into parliamentary work. This interesting event was organized by the chairman of the Langenzersdorfer Wirtschaftsbund, Bernhard Rainer, and coordinated together with his team. National Councilor Andreas Minnich led the group through the impressive premises of the parliamentary building in Korneuburg and described his experiences and tasks as a member of the parliament.

During the leadership, Minnich elderly to visitors how it looks in the everyday work environment of the parliamentarians and what the different areas of the building are used. It is particularly worth mentioning that the parliament, under the direction of the architect Theophil Hansen, is now open to visitors after a comprehensive renovation. The five -year general renovation has transformed the building into a place that makes democracy tangible up close.

a pleasant exchange

After the tour, a cozy get-together took place on the premises of the ÖVP club, in which the participants got into conversation over coffee and drinks. This offered the opportunity to clarify further questions about parliamentary work and to exchange ideas with the MP. Rainer thanked Minnich on behalf of the Langenzersdorf visitors for the revealing leadership and the insights into the world of parliamentarianism.

This exchange not only had an informative character, but also strengthened the connection between the citizens and their representatives in parliament. The initiative of the Economic Association to plan such events shows the commitment to political education and the interest of involving the citizens more in the processes of democracy.
