mules are considered a very valued way in Wyoming, which arouses great interest from hunters, landowners and nature lovers. However, the numbers show that the populations of these animals have been declining in the west for decades. The Game and Fish Department has set itself the goal of understanding and preserving this iconic way.
A survey on the attitude of hunters in Wyoming from 2023 showed that many hunters wish more say in relation to the management of this kind. The upcoming events are important opportunities to network the public with wildlife managers and allow diverse perspectives.
The Mule Deer Community Conversations take place this autumn throughout the state. Further information about the mule deer in Wyoming as well as current maintenance and administrative measures are on the website by Game and Fish available.
