Experience future technologies: HTL Hollabrunn opens its doors

d ie doors of the HTL Hollabrunn and the private HTL for food technology were recently opened for more than 260 middle school students from the area. As part of the “NÖ Teens Go HTL” project, the students had the opportunity to find out about the technical training paths and gain practical experience.

The event took place before the autumn holidays and attracted students from various schools in the region, including Hollabrunn, Göllersdorf, Zellerndorf, Hausleiten, Wullersdorf, Ziersdorf and Sitzendorf. The program was designed to give the pupils interesting insights into the world of technology and to make them aware of the possibility of a future career in this area.

practical insights and experiments

The young guests were able to take part in a variety of experiments organized by the HTL teachers. These practical activities should promote technical understanding and show how exciting work in technology -related professions can be.

The great interest of the students in this event speaks for the growing need for well -founded technical training in the region. "NÖ Teens Go HTL" is an initiative that not only gives insights into technical professions, but also wants to strengthen the connection between schools and higher educational institutions.

During the three days, the students could not only take on theoretical knowledge, but also become active themselves. The offer ranged from practical workshops to informative presentations to the various technical courses.

This initiative is particularly important because it supports the young people in their decision for the further school and professional career by showing them the possibilities and perspectives that can offer technical training. It is to be hoped that this trend will continue and that more young people are encouraged to explore technical areas.
