In a remarkable cooperation, around 50 mayors, heads of office and other representatives from the Czech region of Nĕmčicko came to visit the Weinviertel Manhartsberg. This region lies strategically between the cities of Brno and Olomütz. The visit took place recently and had the goal of getting to know various projects and initiatives from the LEADER region.

The delegation was interested in a variety of topics that ranged from regional development to sustainable projects. The LEADER region, known for its innovative approaches, presented the guests a selection of successful projects that could serve as role models for possible adjustments in their own region.

highlights of the visit

Special attention was paid to the projects that deal with the promotion of rural development and strengthening community resources. By exchanging ideas and experiences, visitors hoped for valuable impulses for their own work in the Czech Republic. In addition to the presentations, there was also time for dialogue and the opportunity to talk directly with project managers and experts.

This type of interregional exchange is of great importance, since it not only transports knowledge, but can also stimulate long -term cooperation. The mutual experience horizon extends opportunities for future projects and initiatives on both sides of the border.
