New church square and passage through: Guntersdorf celebrates on November 24th!
Preparations for the upcoming municipal elections on January 26, 2025 are in full swing. Mayor Roland Weber from Guntersdorf recently presented a comprehensive record of the past legislative period. The focus is on particularly large investments and progress in the community.
"It was very intensive years, especially economical," said Weber in a press conference and emphasized that the municipality has invested almost 13 million euros in various projects since 2020. This sum is an important parameter that shows how committed the local administration works to increase the quality of life in Guntersdorf and to make the community sustainable.
Important projects in retrospect
Most of the budget, around six million euros, was spent on property purchases. These purchases are crucial to create space for future developments and ensure that the community can continue to grow in the future. Another significant expenditure post was the construction of a new doctor's office, for which the municipality started 2.5 million euros. This will not only benefit the health care of the citizens, but will also contribute to the attractiveness of the residential location.
Another important project is to build a local supplier. All necessary permits have already been obtained here, which means that Guntersdorf will soon have an improved local care structure. This is a relief for the residents because they no longer have to cover long distances for purchasing.
With regard to the infrastructure, the passage through the town and the new church square will soon open. The asphalting work and the protection path have already been completed. The ceremonial opening takes place on November 24th, and the municipality expects a positive response from the citizens.
Overall, Roland Weber's balance sheet shows that the municipality of Guntersdorf is in a dynamic development phase that includes both existing and new projects. While the elections are getting closer, it will be exciting to observe how the political structures will change and what new challenges will face the community. target = "_ blank" rel = "nofollow noopener noreferer"> source: www.noen.at
