In Asperdersdorf, a very special occasion was celebrated on November 23. The local emperor Karl Riedmayer, a long-time and committed representative of the ÖVP Hollabrunn, was 70 years old. The village community, consisting of around 450 inhabitants, gathered in the village house to congratulate it and duly appreciate this milestone

The celebrations started in the morning at 11 a.m. and attracted numerous parishioners. It was not just a festival, but a sign of appreciation for Riedmayer's tireless work in the community. His efforts for Aspersdorf were particularly emphasized. As part of the ceremony, Riedmayer received a "beaver tail" hat as a symbolic gift, which is supposed to distinguish him as an incumbent.
