A musical miracle: Haydns the creation in Ravelsbach

The anticipation for a special musical event grows in Ravelsbach: Cappella Ars Musica performs Joseph Haydn's outstanding oratorio "Die Creation". This masterpiece, which has been performed in the region in the past, has inspired its audience since its premiere in 1799 in the old Burgtheater in Vienna.

Numerous visitors flocked to the first performance, including the imperial majesties, who reacted with enthusiasm. "Thundering applause changed silence with sequent and left an enormous, still unbroken impression," report historians. The combination of moving solo arias and powerful choral anthems deals with the act of creation, which is presented in bright light. It is a perfect opportunity to experience this classic work and create a connection to current topics.

an ensemble full of talents

The choir director Maria Magdalena Nödl has invested a lot of effort into the selection of singers and musicians and won an impressive line -up. In the soprano role, the talented Katharina Tschakert, which comes from Waidhofen, will shine.
