The SPÖ Hollabrunn: a young team with fresh ideas for the future
The SPÖ Hollabrunn recently presented its election team and program for the upcoming municipal council election. Under the motto "We are on Hollabrunn eight", the party presents itself with a 26-person team who wants to come up with fresh vigor and innovative ideas. Alexander Eckhardt, as a top candidate, brought a future concept to the discussion that is devoted to the central challenges of the city: "We are faced with a very decisive course, because it is more likely than ever that the Hollabrunner ÖVP loses the absolute majority and then we want to help shape it more than ever," said Eckhardt optimistically about the upcoming changes in the political landscape.
for the SPÖ it is now the crucial moment to achieve strong growth after a loss of mandate in the last election. Eckhardt emphasized that they want to convince with constructive topics and thus want to win back voters. They rely on a young, motivated team that has a remarkable proportion of women compared to previous elections: four of the first six places are filled with women, and the average age of the first ten candidates is 40 years. This is a clear step towards a diversified and future -oriented policy.
a comprehensive future concept
The SPÖ team has made various important subject areas that they want to focus on. These topics include the economy and work, climate and environmental protection, living and mobility, as well as social aspects such as family maintenance, education and health. Eckhardt also mentions that financial resources have to be raised to implement these goals, which is why it stimulates a vacancy tax and a review of existing grants. "We have to ensure that the necessary resources are provided in order to be able to implement our visions," he said, making it clear the importance of the financial basis for future measures.
Another concern of Eckhardt was the integration of experienced party members. "Our non -party, like Helene Strobach, Josef Auer and others, have valuable experience that will help us achieve our goals," says Eckhardt. This mix of fresh wind and proven know-how is intended to ensure that the SPÖ is strongly positioned for the choice and beyond. Among other things, Sandra Damböck-Lehr was second place and some other young candidates who want to bring fresh ideas into party work. City Councilor Friedrich Dechant has decided to run in tenth place after which he has donated his city council salary worth 30,000 euros to local clubs in the past five years.
