These provide exciting insights into the city's history and cars link to the present. The focus is on a contribution about the unicorn in the Gmünder city coat of arms, which, according to concentration, symbolically stands for the Virgin Mary. A side effect of this research: The unicorn seal can celebrate its 750th birthday next year, since a certificate from 1275 reveals that the coat of arms was used earlier than previously assumed, like the Remszeitung reported.
Another exciting part of the book are the discoveries of Florian H., which deals with a new, older stalk card. This card shows early views of places such as Essingen, Lorch and Waldstetten and illuminates the fate that the city shaped during its history, including the dark chapters of the Third Reich. It is particularly emotional when it comes to forced labor, with moving reports on the fates of those affected by those who are told in the band by Rudolf Outlord and Angelika Huber-Sommer.
