In a shocking discovery, a strongly decayed female body was found in a gravel pit near Stockerau on December 11th. Employees of a company found the remains and immediately alerted the police. According to police spokesman Raimund Schwaigerlehner, the advanced level of decay indicates that the woman has been dead for several months. The identity of the deceased has so far remained unclear and investigations are underway. The public prosecutor has ordered an autopsy, the results and a toxicological report are still standing, as Meinbezkirk reported.
