On Sunday, December 1, 2024, a traffic accident in Hof am Leithage Mountains occurred at around 5:50 a.m. when a 27-year-old Viennese came off his car from the L 155 and collided with a bridge railing. The driver and his 32-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries. A 30-year-old passenger who was also in the vehicle suffered injuries to an indefinite degree and had to be freed from the fire brigade. He was brought to the Eisenstadt hospital while the driver and the passenger were admitted to the State Clinic in Baden, as 5min.at reported.

Just a day later, on Monday afternoon, there was another serious accident on the B20. A 61-year-old man drove his wheel loader towards Thörl and wanted to turn left into Winkler Straße. A 22-year-old driver of an ambulance, which disabled the truck, overlooked the bend process of the wheel loader and collided with it. After the incident, the driver of the ambulance was in shock, while his passenger, a 19-year-old civil servant, was trapped in the vehicle and had to be freed from work forces with hydraulic scissors. Both were quickly brought to the University Hospital Graz and the UKH with rescue helicopters. Fortunately, the wheel loader remained unharmed, but the Red Cross vehicle suffered a total damage, such as Kleinezeitung.at reported.
