Regional galas Do good!: Health heroes from the districts excellent!

In a festive setting, the annual “Tut good!” Regional gala for the industrial district was held in a festive setting on Monday, March 17, 2025. 65 outstanding health promotion programs were awarded that make a significant contribution to promoting a healthier lifestyle. It is particularly noteworthy that 25 municipalities, 17 schools, four companies and 18 vital kitchens emerged among the honored institutions, with most of the awards from the Baden and Mödling districts, such as the APA-OTS reported. Ludwig Schleritzko, the responsible state council for "good!", Emphasized: "Our goal is to motivate the Lower Austrian compatriots into a healthier lifestyle."

There was special attention to the municipality of Altendorf, which received a special ceremony for their project "sociable and moved in Altendorf", which acts actively on the social isolation of the citizens. Beyond the gala, the "Tops good!" Initiative shows how health promotion is placed and made visible in various regions. In addition, with the cabaret insert by Monica Weinzettl and Gerold Rudle, there were entertaining highlights that easily framed the commitment of the participants.

Health as a joint project in Berlin

The city of Berlin has also taken important steps in health promotion in parallel to the gala -like honor in the industrial district. The Berlin regional network already formulated guidelines for a "healthy city of Berlin" in 2007 in order to give health policy a prevention and resource-oriented orientation, in line with the WHO program "Health for everyone". The health of the citizens is funded by close cooperation between politics, public and private institutions and civil society, as can be read on the official side of the Berlin government ( berlin.de ).

The Berlin guidelines are aimed at all actors who have an impact on the health of the population and actively promote the exchange of experiences with other cities. This comprehensive approach to health promotion makes it possible to make the degree of implementation measurable and to develop conceptually, so that in the end all citizens benefit from the measures.
