Art pleasure in April: Great exhibitions and memorial celebrations in Lower Austria!

On April 3, 2025, the exhibition "Departments" opened with works by Christine Nehammer-Markus and Catharina Vopava in the exhibition bridge in the Lower Austrian country house in St. Pölten. Most of these works were created in Neulengbach and draw the inspiration from nature. The exhibition can be seen daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. until May 4th. At the same time, a special exhibition entitled "Herrera & Dubuffet.! A Spark of Light in this World" opened in the Museum Gugging. This exhibition presents the work of the Uruguayan artist Magalí Herrera (1914 - 1992) in cooperation with the Collection de l’Art brood. Over 80 work addresses the correspondence between Herrera and Jean Dubuffet. In the Beethovenhaus Baden, an information date with the title "What does dust mean?" Instead, which belongs to the focus of deafness. For the future, the Kiör department of the city of Dortmund plans a symposium that deals with art in public space. Various themed blocks are planned that examine the relationship between museums and art in public space. The event will take place on November 22nd and 23rd, 2024.
