Since April 7, 2025, the new storage hall on the site of the former freight station is officially absorbed. This step follows a successful trial operation that started in the summer of 2024. The hall has an area of ​​around 4,000 square meters, which includes storage, operating and office space, and can accommodate a total of 24 train sets on six tracks. The Vienna Local Railways (WLB) have built the modern facility, which is considered a milestone in the development of Badner Bahn.

The new timetable also came into force on April 6, 2025 and brings two additional trains from Baden State Clinic towards Vienna Opera in the morning. This is part of the continuous efforts to optimize public transport and promote environmentally friendly mobility. Track moderization work was carried out over Easter, which required a replacement of rails by bus every 15 minutes.
