Anonymous donation saves family after devastating floods in Lower Austria
A terrible flood devastated many houses in Lower Austria in September, including the home of Kenana Musaefendic and her family in Katzelsdorf, Tulbing community. The family had moved into their new home just two years ago when the water suddenly climbed up and destroyed their furniture. In order to escape the devastating effects of the flood, the family was forced to temporarily live with neighbors. The damage amounted to an incredible 190,000 euros.
But in the middle of the need there was a glimmering glimmer of hope: after Kenana Musaefendic spoke about the catastrophic location in an ORF program, a generous donor reported. This anonymous benefactor, who came out as a member of a wealthy family of entrepreneurs from Upper Austria, offered the family an impressive donation of 100,000 euros. "We particularly touched the fate of the family," said the donor. Ms. Musaefendic is overwhelmed by the help and said: "I didn't believe it at first. That was a big, big donation, without which we really couldn't get any further".
Financial support
Thanks to the generous donation and 60,000 euros that the country takes over, the Musaefendic family will now have the opportunity to cope with the enormous damage. "I would like to thank you. I am really very touched. You can only find a person like this once in life," she said deeply about the support. This unexpected help comes at a time when the family urgently needs support and shows that in difficult times there are always people who are ready to open their heart and help, as noe.orf.at reported.
