Together for well -being: a fundraising campaign in the Amstettner Christmas forest

A special fundraiser will be launched in Amstetten this year, which takes place on November 30 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the heart of the Christmas forest on the main square. Together with the Hinterberger company, which is known for its coffee machines, the city marketing Amstetten is organizing an initiative to support the Amstetten women's shelter. The proceeds of this campaign should benefit women and children who are looking for protection against domestic violence during this festive period.

Christmas time is a time of being together and giving for many. But not everyone is lucky enough to spend this time to safety and joy. "We would like to support these women and their children this Christmas. We try to make their situation a little more bearable with a 'automatically good' donation!"

Participation in the fundraising campaign is uncomplicated. At a special, converted Hinterberger vending machine you can make your donation at any amount at the push of a button. At the same time, the donors can expect a musical highlight: Roman Hinterberger, as part of "The Buffalo Bells", will present Christmas melodies and rock’n’Roll classics live.

The Christmas forest itself has many attractions to offer again this year. A mailbox is particularly new that invites the children to submit their letters to the Christ Child directly on site. This mailbox is now available at the crib, and on December 15th at 3:30 p.m. the Christ child will personally pick up the letters and may even respond to some of them. Another highlight will be a visit to St. Nicholas on December 6th at 5 p.m.

As in previous years, the pop-up hut will not be missing, in which artisans, pupils and local clubs present their products. These stands invite visitors to browse and discover. The combination of traditional Christmas market and a social concern makes this event a particularly valuable experience in Advent.
