On April 14, 2025, in Ybbsitz, Lower Austria, a serious traffic accident occurred, which caused the fire brigade and other rescue workers on alert. The Ybbsitz volunteer fire brigade received an emergency call and was immediately called to the scene of the accident. The driver of a vehicle had lost control of his car and got into skid. Initially, it was unclear how exactly the accident had occurred. Firefighters who were on their way to the fire station were able to provide initial care before the emergency services arrived. It quickly became apparent that the driver was able to free himself from the vehicle.

The accident, which happened at 2:30 p.m., was also processed by the Ybbsitz volunteer fire brigade and the fire brigade Waidhofen/YbBS city, whereby the vehicle was recovered with cable winch and stop materials. Here, too, the exact circumstances of the accident remained unclear, and the police started investigations.
