A dramatic Monday evening brought two fascinating rescue operations to light in Germany. While animal heroes were saved in Amstetten, in Nuremberg a cyclist alerted the emergency services to a supposed emergency in the Main-Donau Canal.
The Pinnersdorf volunteer fire brigade was challenged in Amstetten when three pigs plunged into a manure channel. The firefighters immediately started the rescue measures.
