Successful children's activity: fun and movement for the whole family

In the Amstetten district, a special event took place at the end of October: the first “children's activity” of the healthy small region Donau-Ybbsfeld. This took place in the Georgsaal in St. Georgen am Ybbsfeld during the autumn holidays and enjoyed an unexpectedly high rush. Families from the surrounding area flocked to what the event helped to achieve great success.

The extensive program offered a wide range of activities for the children. They were able to choose from a colorful range of movement and dance workshops, learn self-defense and deal with therapy dogs. Nature lovers got their money's worth on a forest pedagogy tour, while others participated in making their own smoothies or trying healthy waffles. The Rotkreuz, the children's police and the children's fire brigade were also a sought-after goal and aroused the interest of the little guests.

In addition to the exciting workshops, the kids were also able to take part in “Tut Gut Lower Austria” fitness and play stations and live out their creative skills in the T-shirt painting corner. The face painting, which was offered by the Amstetten aid organization, was particularly popular. A bouncy castle outdoors caused additional entertainment, while the parents were able to spend the time relaxed in the small region café in the foyer.

The event was opened by small regional mayor Johannes Pressl and social spokeswoman Karin Ebner. In their welcoming words, they praised the perfect organization and the commitment of the entire team, which had worked on this event with a lot of dedication. "With this active day in the autumn holidays, we want to focus on nutrition, movement and mental strength of our children and at the same time draw attention to the diversity of the health offer in and around our small region," explained social spokeswoman Karin Ebner.

The positive response and the high number of visitors are proof of how well the event was accepted. It focuses on promoting the health and well -being of the children and shows the possibilities that the small region has to offer. With this in mind, the children's activity was not only a success for the organizers, but also a valuable contribution to health promotion in the community.
