In Amstetten, creative energy is re -lit. The "ideas mill" specializes in bringing people together who have innovative ideas but often stalls when implementing. This initiative aims to create a platform where inventors and technology -loving people can get in touch with each other in order to realize their visions.

Once a month, the members of the ideas spinning meet a regulars' table in the "Makerspace", a unique workshop that is available from the region. These meetings are not only an opportunity to talk about ideas, but also an opportunity for everyone to develop their own skills in a supportive environment. "We promote the exchange and help people realize their projects," explains Günther Sterlike, one of the board members of the ideas mill.

The next meeting will take place next Wednesday at 6 p.m. The enthusiasm within the association is growing: "We now count around 140 members who are experts in their field. Here professionals and hobbyists come together to support each other," continues Sterlike. The Makerspace has set up necessary workshops for wood, metal and high-tech projects, which also stimulates the creativity of the members.

An important aspect of the ideas spinning is close to working with the economy. The association has numerous connections to local companies that are willing to bring in their expertise. These collaborations make it possible to tackle challenging projects on a voluntary basis and at the same time to offer the companies practical solutions. "We are proud that we are supported by many companies and the city of Amstetten," says Sterlike. "This enables us to cover the running costs and maintain our offers."

The ideas mill has the potential not only to inspire the local creative people, but also to be a springboard for future start-ups. "The aim is for the ideas of our members to create new companies that enrich the region," concludes Sterlike. This platform could not only give new impulses to the community, but also the local economy.
