New coach at LASK: Joao Sacramento brings international flair!

Linz, Österreich - The LASK has signed a new head coach with Joao Sacramento. The 36-year-old Portuguese will take over the office by summer 2027. Sacramento has an impressive international experience that he gained in well-known clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur, AS Roma and Paris Saint-Germain. During his time with these clubs, he had the opportunity to work with top stars such as Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé and Harry Kane. Sports director Dino Buric describes Sacramento as a "meticulous worker with exceptional international experience" and sees great potential in the team that Sacramento is supposed to develop together with the team. The official start of his work takes place with the upcoming summer preparation.

Before his new role at LASK, Sacramento worked in the Qatarian stars League at Al Duhail SC, where he worked under Christophe Galter. Sacramento started his coaching career at the age of 18. He graduated from “Football Coaching and Performance” at the University of South Wales and analyzed the work of José Mourinho, in particular his concept of tactical periodization. Sacramento also worked for the Welsh Football Association and Cardiff City. In 2014 he was brought to AS Monaco by Luis Campos as head of the analysis department, where he worked with coach Leonardo Jardim.
